Carmen

In an academic setting, the Perpignan music conservatory organised an interpretation of Georges Bizet's renowned opéra comique, Carmen. The opera was directed by David Santonja-Ruiz, and starred Simona Caressa, Camille Tresmontant and Céline Mellon. The performance benefited from the support of two separate choirs, all directed by Aline Rico, namely a children's choir and a student choir assisted by the Chœur Osmose, in which Étri sang as a Tenor 2. The Perpignan music conservatory's cycle 3 orchestra was directed by Mehdi Lougraïda. Finally, the pupil and professional dancers brought opera home. The dress rehearsal has been assisted by an elementary school, and the performance has been very well received.
